Forces Of Valor Unimax 1/32 German Kubelwagen Type 82 Holland 1944

The Volkswagen Kübelwagen (literally translated as "tub truck" for its resemblance to a metal bathtub on wheels) was a light military vehicle designed by Ferdinand Porsche and built by Volkswagen during World War II for use by the German military (both Wehrmacht and Waffen-SS). Based heavily on the Volkswagen Beetle, it was prototyped as the Type 62, but eventually became known internally as the Type 82. The Kübelwagen was for the Germans what the jeep was for the Allies.

Forces of Valor’s Kübelwagen is constructed of diecast metal and plastic. The body is metal and the soft
retracted top is plastic. The rubber tires roll. The set includes both a driver and soldier passenger. The windshield can be displayed dropped down or up. The interior includes front and rear seats and detailed dash board. The spare tire is a separate piece and can be affixed to the hood.

Forces of Valor’s 1:32nd scale replica is of a Kübelwagen oufitted as a medical vehicle as seen on the Eastern Front in 1944.
